Occupational Therapy Therapist (OT)

Employer:   Stark County Educational Service Center

Responsible to:   Director, Related Services and Supervisor, Occupational Therapy

Salary Range:   Based on training and experience; Full time, contracted position

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required minimum. Must be a graduate of an Occupational Therapy Program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Current Ohio Department of Education License – Occupational Therapist
• Current license from the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers Board

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pediatric experience

Job Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Provide school based occupational therapy for children with disabilities in partnership with school districts by providing:
  • evaluation services
  • direct services using evidence based interventions
  • consultative services to school personnel and families
  • support to educational staff and students through RTI
  • collaboration with team members in assessment and delivery of services
  • advocacy for students and families
• Provide supervision to occupational therapy assistants in the delivery of services
• Act as a fieldwork instructor in the education of university students.
